Determining how high to hang pendant lights is easy! The standard 4' cord set length that comes supplied with your Niche pendant should work for most installations. Your electrician can easily adjust the height up or down before installing so you can get it just right!
To find out how much cord length you need, just take the measurement from the floor to the ceiling and then subtract that from the distance from the floor to the bottom of the glass. Wondering how to hang a pendant light in the first place? Read up on that here.
Above a table top, we recommend leaving 28" - 32" in between the top of the table and the bottom of the pendants.
For kitchen island lighting, a little more space is needed. We recommend 30" - 40" between the top of the island and the bottom of the pendants. All Niche cord sets can be cut on site to the desired length. Longer cord set lengths are also available as a custom option. Need help?
