Washington D.C. Project Features Niche's Handmade Contemporary Lighting

Wentworth Studio, located in Chevy Chase, Maryland, has been building architectural and interior design projects since 2004. They have featured our own handmade contemporary lighting in a number of projects, including this one in the Capitol Hill district of Washington, D.C. The homeowners wanted to remodel their Queen Anne style townhouse, especially the kitchen. They specifically asked Wentworth Studio to open the kitchen to the adjacent dining room, taking advantage of the sunny garden views just outside and maximizing every bit of space.

Handmade Contemporary Lighting - Amber Turret

In the kitchen, a trio of Niche Turret pendants in Amber glass hangs over the island. The honey-colored hue of our Amber glass complements the countertop capped in cherry wood. The light from our Turret pendants brings warmth to the space while also helping to balance the natural light streaming in from the patio. The linear arrangement of these hand-blown pendants draws the eye to the garden just beyond the open doors, working in a way that satisfies the homeowner's wishes.
