1. Makers Market at Reservoir & Wood
What: A group showcase of Beacon makers, including digitally fabricated gifts by Fabhaus, contemporary furniture and table goods from Rexhill Furniture and handcrafted metal jewelry by Marisa Lomonaco. Prints, apothecary, ceramics, and leather goods (all handmade in the Hudson Valley) will also be on display for this one-day-only holiday show.

2. Hudson Valley Winter Book Fair
What: A used book sale to benefit the First Presbyterian Church of Beacon and included author signings, live readings and baked goods.

3. Second Saturday Flash Art Sale
What: Local illustrators and artists join forces at this group showcase in hopes of making room for more art in their studios. See recent work by Evan Cohen, Daniel Weise and Erica Hauser - along with many other talented locals this Saturday at Open Space.

4. Bicycle Tree Lighting
What: Fun for the whole family, many local groups come together to make this event happen. There will be a craft for young children, a visit from Santa Claus, musical performances, a sculptural bicycle Christmas tree lighting, a 7th Night of Hanukkah menorah lighting, and a new toy drive.

5. Makers-on-Hudson Holiday Craft Fair
What: In an encouragement to support the local economy, over 20 diversified, local artisans will be showing and selling unique handmade goods.

6. Opening receptions at BAU Gallery
What: Multimedia artist, Lisa Zukowaski and Belgium born sculptor, Herman Roggerman team up for an opening of new work at the Beacon Artist Union.
