Beacon, New York Designers Unite at Architectural Digest Design Show

We're so excited to be participating in the Architecutral Digest Design Show this year. The show starts tomorrow at Piers 92 & 94 in New York City. Get all the information about how to visit us at Booth #203 here. We can't wait to see what all of the designers and brands have to offer! We're pleased to know that we will be showcasing our modern lighting alongside two other designers from our hometown of Beacon, New York! Read on to get to know them.

Kim Markel

Designer Kim Markel creates whimsical, candy-colored chairs, tables, and more by hand in Beacon, New York using recycled plastics. Markel's philosophy stems from the desire to create in a responsible way. Up-cycling has certainly played an important role, but Markel's approach "aims to elevate recycled plastics into a material that is organic, translucent and effervescent." At the Architectural Digest Design Show, her Glow Collection will be unveiled at Booth M405.

Rexhill Furniture

Husband and wife design duo Paula and Justin King, also known as Rexhill Furniture, play off of mid-century and art deco furniture designs, giving them a breath of new life with a modern twist. With backgrounds in the furniture industy, it was no surprise for Rexhill Furniture to set up shop in the arts-oriented community of Beacon. Pictured left is their Jax Table. Catch this table and their other handmade creations at the Architectural Digest Design Show at Booth M318.
