Kim Markel

Designer Kim Markel creates whimsical, candy-colored chairs, tables, and more by hand in Beacon, New York using recycled plastics. Markel's philosophy stems from the desire to create in a responsible way. Up-cycling has certainly played an important role, but Markel's approach "aims to elevate recycled plastics into a material that is organic, translucent and effervescent." At the Architectural Digest Design Show, her Glow Collection will be unveiled at Booth M405.
