Constellation, Large-scale Installation, Featured in Upstater Magazine

large-scale art installation in Hudson Valley featured in Upstater magazine

Have you had a chance to see Constellation yet? This large-scale installation by artist Melissa McGill is on view from now through 2017, every night at sunset. Upstater describes how the "stars" suspended above Bannerman Castle in the Hudson River connect our world to the next and fill in the missing gaps of the decrepit structure. What are the "stars" exactly? They are Sapphire glass orbs handmade by Niche earlier this year. For more information on where and how to visit this unique, public art piece, read the full Upstater article above and then click here. Can't get enough of Constellation? You can also buy the new book!
