The Gallows, a restaurant located in what is called "the neck" of Boston's South End has a haunting past, but also a very bright future. The name "The Gallows" is a nod to the 17th century public executions that took place where restaurant has taken up residence. Although it may be a dark theme for a dining experience the atmosphere is nothing short of warm and inviting. In the main dining area, Niche's Crystal Pod Pendants hang above intimate dining booths. Although their are only two pendants, they appear to multiple the light by reflecting in the mirrors that surround them. The pendants add lustre to the overall space and a soft glow to the exposed brick and repurposed wooden planks that clad the interior walls. Once you get comfortable at The Gallows, you'll be in no hurry to leave.
