Niche Modern Plum Pendants featured in Dallas News Spotlight

What does a clock, a handblown vase, a china pie plate, silk bedding, a couple chairs, a KitchenAid mixer, Bodum French press, cast iron French oven, a few Niche Modern Pendant Lights, and a sectional couch all have in common?? Nothing really, objectively speaking. Well, one thing for sure... they are all made available in some hue of purple. The Dallas Morning News ran a feature titled "Plum Pickings" last year and included our plum pendant lights among the other functional objects listed above, all brilliantly sporting some shade of purple. The article called purple "the hot new color in home decor." It wasn't the first time we heard the rumor. In August of last year, Residential Lighting magazine featured our Solitaire in Plum on their front cover, blogger Kim Vallée noticed Plum trending last year, and including a few of our pendants, Martha Stewart magazine shared ideas on decorating with dark colors. It's truly a remarkable color, composed of both blue and red and has an extremely rich history, associated with royalty and nobility. For more on the brilliance of purple, click here to read more.
