Designed by Claire Paquin of Clean Design, this Westchester home underwent a complete gut renovation. Originally, the kitchen, dining room, and family room were closed off to one another. The client requested an open concept kitchen where the family-of-four could gather and still have access to the other living areas. The result is stunning; the spaces blend into each other, with materials and color palettes remaining consistent throughout to create a cohesive design.

Two Condesa Stamen hang above the eat-in kitchen island. The burst of brightness from the blue glass pendants complement the soft accents of the island cabinetry and curtains. The blue stands out against an otherwise neutral palette of varying tones of whites and grays, adding a pop to this light and airy kitchen.

"The fabric was a jumping off point for the kitchen color scheme," Paquin shares. "We selected the teal color from the boldly patterned window treatments and incorporated it in the pendant lights and island cabinetry. These bright pops of color transformed this white kitchen into a fresh, vibrant gathering space for the entire family."
