Today in the Niche Hot Shop we’re producing Mini Orbs for artist Melissa McGill in collaboration for her Constellation Project. This site-specific work will be installed on an abandoned island in the Hudson River. Once installed our glass globes will be part of a large-scale light-based artwork which will be visible from several points on both sides of the river. We’re excited to be a part of this public artwork! Melissa was on site today with her team to document the process, and we documented the documenting!
