Written by Samantha | 3/30/17 5:40 PM

Last week, Esquire — the popular lifestyle men's magazine — stopped by our modern pendant lighting studio to film our signature Stamen pendant being made from start to finish. The video will be an installment in Esquire's "Handmade" series, a catalog of online videos featuring some of the most interesting handmade products in the state. We are absolutely thrilled that they have included us in this project, and we are so excited to be in the company of other talented artists who believe in the importance of creating handmade products. Stay tuned for more information regarding the Esquire video shoot — we'll update you as soon as the footage is released!

Every single glass pendant light that comes from Niche is made by real people, just like you. Our team of experienced glass artisans take great care in delivering a product of timeless beauty with the highest standards of craftsmanship in mind. At Niche, we believe in authentic and original design and we are proud to be carrying on the tradition of glass-blowing within our local community.

At Niche, each modern pendant begins with a sketch from Creative Director, Jeremy Pyles. Every detail is carefully thought out between a team of designers, glass artists, and technicians. After the pendants are hand-blown in our Hot Shop, they are inspected, cut, drilled, ground and polished by hand in the Cold Shop to ensure our standard of excellence. When you purchase from Niche, you can be certain that it is made with quality, precision, and love every step of the way.
