Modern Kitchen Island Pendant Lights Shine Bright in Seattle Home

The owner of this Northwest modern home in Seattle's Lake Sammamish neighborhood contacted Tamara Stroud Design to tackle a whole-house remodel. The 1970's split-level did not utilize the floor plan to its fullest potential and included several dated features. Stroud freed the interior of its constraints, creating an open concept kitchen, dining, and living room. The result is an entirely functional space that reflects the priorities of her client. Niche modern kitchen island pendant lights hang in this renovated home, adding a perfect touch of warmth to this residence.

Two of our Stamen pendants in Crystal glass hang above the kitchen island. The handmade clear glass complements the subway tile backsplash and quartzite countertop while standing out against a backdrop of walnut cabinets and flooring. Hanging multiple pendants in your kitchen? Try using one of our Linear Modern Chandeliers — they only require a single junction box and make it easy to customize your display.

"I love the clean lines of Niche fixtures," Stroud says. "Their simple beauty and elegance add style to any space! Walnut cabinets and quartzite countertop work beautifully together with Niche pendant lighting to create the Northwest modern style my clients desired."

The conjoining living room features a natural color palette that helps tie the two spaces together. The tall windows were added during the remodel to provide maximum natural light inside the home. Niche pendants bring the perfect balance to this unified interior, creating a warm glow that brightens the two rooms in style.
