A supergroup of sorts in the brewing world, Veza Sur is the brainchild of Bogota Beer Company's Berny Silberwasser, Chris and Jeremy Cox of 10 Barrel Brewing Company in Bend, Oregon, and master brewer Asbjorn Gerlach. The trio brings a taste of South America to the West Coast at this Wynwood, Miami brewery and creates a relaxed, Latin-inspired space.
A linear grouping of Pod pendants in Amber glass hangs above the 40-foot bar, running along the length of the reclaimed driftwood tabletop. The honey-colored hue of this vibrant pendant lighting complements the warm wood tones and colorful accents featured throughout the taproom, especially those found in the furniture.
The Pod pendants balance the natural light that streams in from windows connected to the brewery's terrace. The pendants also draw the eye's attention to the end of the bar, where a 15-barrel brewhouse is visible through more floor-to-ceiling glass. Guests can enjoy one of the many craft beers and micheladas while they watch their favorites being brewed just beyond arm's reach.
