Warehouse Manager 

Full Time Position

 

We are in search of a Warehouse Manager. This position serves as a liaison between our hot shop, cold shop and sales department. The ability to multi-task, problem solve, and prioritize is a must. 3-5 years’ experience in a related warehouse environment is desired.

 

Job details include:

Purchase Order Fulfillment

  • Stock check for orders.
  • Direct daily communication with sales and logistics.
  • Working directly with our sales department for support.
  • Sets packing expectations for the day.

Quality Control

  • Quality control review for all items produced in our hot shop.
  • QC – grading following Niche protocol.
  • Sending daily report follow-up after grading all production from previous day’s work.
  • Custom canopy inspections upon receiving.

Inventory and Purchasing

  • Maintaining an organized inventory of glass, bulbs, and electrical components.
  • Purchasing requests – bulbs, electrical, warehouse supplies (boxes, paper, etc.).
  • Distribution and maintaining UL labels and shared document sheet.
  • Alerting purchasing when stock levels are low.
  • Overseeing Year End Inventory.
  • Restocking inventory.

Company Support

  • Sample Sale set-up.
  • Assisting in trade show set up on site and prep.
  • Supporting our marketing department for product shots and photo shoots.

Office Management (Responsible for maintaining the following office shared documents) 

  • Glass Loss
  • Move to Coldshop
  • To be Coldworked – Orders
  • To be Coldworked - Stock
  • To be Packed
  • Stock Check / Stock Check Electrical
  • UL Label Use
  • Sample Kits
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace 


Shipping and Receiving

  • Shipping—labeling boxes and scanning work orders. 
  • Receiving in accordance with protocol.
  • Palletizing orders and pallet dimensions.

Basic Lamping Assembly

  • Canopy assembly.
  • Lamp wiring.

Managing 1-2 employees on the following tasks

  • Packing for orders.
  • Sample kits.
  • Bulb Testing.
  • Peanut chute.
  • Palletize sample sale glass for storage.
