MARKETING ASSOCIATE

Full Time Position

Niche is looking for a creative person with Graphic Design skills who is capable of both designing within a brand identity framework as well as creating original content. This person must be a team player who can communicate and work with the Marketing team, along with the other departments that make up Niche.

We are not your typical office! We manufacture handmade glass lighting right in Beacon, NY. Located just 90 minutes north of Manhattan, we are committed to bringing best-in-class modern lighting solutions to the architects and interior designers all over the world. Our office is in the same 100-year-old factory building as our glass studio and our team works closely to develop, produce, market, sell and ship our handmade designs every day.

Role and Responsibilities

Work closely with the Marketing Team, Operations Manager, and Creative Director to plan, formulate and execute product launches, sales and campaigns.
Continue to develop social content, blog content, tear sheets, guidebooks, e-books and other digital marketing collateral that aligns with the visual language of the brand and goals of Creative Director.
Create a product catalog that aligns with the visual language of the brand and goals of Creative Director.
Create content for email marketing campaigns.
Assist in website design, maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting.
Assist in photoshoot set-up, photography, and re-touching for new and existing products.
Assist in the design of creative for social media, re-targeting and brand-reinforcing digital/print advertising.
Participate in annual Trade Shows - Assist in the design and installation of the booth and complete all applicable digital & printed materials.
Participate in Niche Factory Sales - Including the creation of print materials & campaign creative.
Assist in the organization of the marketing office to help the team maximize operational effectiveness and efficiency.
Assist in the completion of all marketing department goals.

Qualifications

BFA/BA in Design, Digital Design, Graphic/Web Design, Fine Art or related field
Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience
Proficient in: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
Knowledge of Photography is a plus
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and Web Design
Knowledge of e-commerce is a plus
Strong presentation skills
Awareness of thoughtful design and digital trends
Strong attention to detail, quality, and process
Self-motivated and flexible; able to adapt quickly to change
