To clean your handmade glass pendant light properly, first make sure your power is properly turned OFF. Hold onto the glass and carefully reach inside your pendant from below. Unscrew the light bulb from the threaded socket and then tightly grip the glass strain relief while unscrewing the shade ring to fully release the glass from the socket and cord. Learn how to dissasemble your cord set here. If your pendant has a glass holder, unscrew the glass holder screws to release the glass. Use great care when handling your glass shades.

Apply glass cleaner to the glass shade. We recommend only applying cleaner directly to the glass if the cord set has been completely removed from the glass shade. If the cord set has not been removed, apply cleaner to a soft cloth instead. Wipe the glass in circular motions on both the inside and outside of the pendant. To avoid fingerprints, wear gloves.

Finally, use a dry, soft cloth to remove any streaks. Reassemble your pendant by attaching the glass shade onto the cord. Your pendant light is now clean and ready to hang again!
