Floating Home in Seattle Features Niche Kitchen Island Pendant Lights

This home by E. Cobb Architects and G Little Construction is not your typical home; instead of being situated on land, it floats on Lake Union in Seattle, Washington. The actual structure of the home was built in the Port Townsend Shipyard before it was lowered into the water and sent two hours South East to Seattle (watch a timelapse video of its journey), where it is now occupied by residents who were ever-present during the building process.

Kitchen Island Pendant Lights - Amber Pharos

Once the home was in the water, it spent a few days on the dock, where the construction team worked on the interior finishes. During this time, a trio of Pharos pendants in Amber glass were installed above the kitchen island. The sleek shape of the Pharos pendant looks fabulous in clusters or in lines of multiples over a restaurant bar or kitchen counter, as seen here. The honey-colored hue of our signature Amber glass complements the warm wood tones featured throughout the space. We couldn't be happier with the result and we are grateful that Niche kitchen island pendant lights were included in such a unique project.
