Pharos pendants in a modern Nashville home

Architects Lelia Gilchrist and Larry Woodson moved to Nashville Tennessee in 1997. Their home is a modern interpretation of Nashville architecture, blending historic materials with stark contemporary design. New York based designer Kevin Dumais was brought on to compose the interior space.

Pharos Pendants Niche Modern Lighting

In an article Interiors Magazine, Dumais describes how he created a warm environment in modern home, "I wanted to soften the lines of the architecture with different textures, materials and colors so it didn't feel so austere." He accomplished this by weaving in a palette of warm and cool gray tones. We love how our Pharos pendants in amber create a pop of color against subtle finishes of the bathroom. In addition, the use of slightly offset cord lengths creates a fun visual focus. Great example of contemporary bathroom lighting fixtures!
