Kitchen Island Stamen Pendants Featured in Designer's Sustainable Starter Apartment

Evelyn Lee, a recent graduate of Parson's Interior Design program, allowed Apartment Therapy to tour her sustainable starter apartment. Designed for a client who wanted a relaxing haven from the city, this two-bedroom, 1,185-square-foot condo features sustainable design materials, such as recycled content and responsibly harvested woods. The neutral palette in the living room and bedroom provide a serene space for the homeowner to unwind after a long day in Manhattan.

In the kitchen two Niche Stamen pendants in Gray glass hang above the island. The Stamen redefines the parameters for hand-blown glass by curving around voluptuously and tucking into itself unexpectedly, making this the perfect statement piece in the conjoining area. Connected to the living room, the kitchen also boasts a subdued palette, and our signature Gray glass is the perfect neutral shade for this space. With pops of color and dark floor finishes, this interior stands out as a true representation of what the client wanted in her home.
