Happy Friday

Lets spice things up a bit! There is nothing better than sipping on a tasty fall cocktail, in a well designed space... under amazing pendant lights. Since we can't all be at the same place at the same time, we're bringing it all to you.

Here are a few of our favorite bars and three of our favorite fall cocktail recipes to try at home.

The Canadian Cocktail

INGREDIENTS
2 oz. spiced rum
½ oz. maple syrup
¼ oz. freshly squeezed lime juice (about half a lime)
¼ oz. apple cider
⅛ tsp. ground cinnamon
1 cinnamon stick, for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS
In a shaker, add all the ingredients along with ½ cup of ice, shake vigorously to dissolve cinnamon, and pour mixture along with ice into an old-fashioned glass to serve. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Spiced Wine

INGREDIENTS
1 750-ml bottle medium-bodied
red wine, such as zweigelt
1⁄2 cup sugar
8 whole cloves
4 lemon wedges
4 4" sticks cinnamon

INSTRUCTIONS
Bring ingredients to a boil, stirring occasionally, in a 4-qt. saucepan and remove from heat. Discard cloves. Ladle wine into 4 glasses and garnish each with 1 of the cinnamon sticks and 1 lemon wedge. Serve hot.

Cranberry Crush

INGREDIENTS
2 oz. 100% cranberry juice
2 oz. not-too-sweet spiced rum, like Cruzan 9 Spice
3 oz. spicy ginger beer, like Blenheim's or Reed's

INSTRUCTIONS
In a rocks glass filled with ice, combine cranberry juice and rum. Top with ginger beer.
