Black and Poole is a Philadelphia-based design firm that focuses on more than just interior design. Each project that they take on becomes a collaboration between the architecture, product design and furniture design, creating a highly unified visual experience.

The Gladwyne, Pennsylvania renovation exudes charm with airy, neutral tones and earthy material choices. Gretchen Kubiak (Owner/ Creative Director) and her team thoughtfully placed two Terra modern pendant lights in Crystal over the smooth, charcoal-colored surface of the kitchen island. The clear glass kitchen pendant lighting creates the perfect visual centerpiece over the main gathering place in the kitchen. Each of the oversized handmade crystal pendant lights are illuminated by four Edison style bulbs, giving this simple lighting a unique presence. 

From the layout of the space, to the cabinets, to the fabric on the pillows, every inch of a Black and Poole project is thoughtfully designed to create a special connection between the homeowners, makers, artists and designers. All of these assets coming together is what makes the space greater than Gretchen and her team could have ever imagined.
