3 Kitchen Table Pendant Lighting Installations Embrace Mid-Century Modern

Mid-century modern is an architectural, interior, product and graphic design style that generally describes mid-20th century developments in modern design, architecture and urban development from roughly 1933 to 1965. These designs were so prolific that they are still relevant today. Here are three kitchen table pendant lighting installations that embrace mid-century modern interiors.

1. Erickson Residence designed by Jette Creative

Jette Creative used kitchen table pendant lighting to create a focal point above this mid-century modern gathering space. Though all different shapes, the trio of our Pod, Aurora, and Stamen pendant lights in Crystal glass feature our signature glass tuck design and hang together in harmony.

2. Sands Point House designed by Ole Sondresen

A row of three Niche Pod pendants hang above this gathering space in a sun-drenched home designed by Ole Sondresen. The Crystal glass catches the sunlight and reflections from all directions, adding another dimension of luminescence to the warm, wooden mid-century modern furniture and space.

3. Portland Farmhouse Designed by Ann McCulloch Studio

Two custom fixtures divide the L-shaped kitchen island and table hybrid. Our Terra, Pod and Stamen pendant lights are on one side (pictured), and the Pharos, Oculo and Stargazer pendant lights are on the other. Ann McCulloch Studio aimed to redesign the interior to keep it in line with its mid-century construction, while updating the lighting and other accessories to reflect contemporary styles.
